Abstract:

It can be said that the Turkish migration, which started from Central Asia to Central Europe with the leadership of the Seljuks, and finally settled down in Anatolia, was carried out mainly by the nomadic communities. This social-historical process, which started with the settlement of the Great Seljuks towards the Byzantine border and the gate of Anatolia, seems to have continued with similar events in the Mongol invasion that began in the 1220s and later. Dedebal? community, which was one of the Turkish communities that took refuge in Anatolia from the Khwarazm Shah State that was demolished by the Mongols, and the traces of the community in Anatolia and the Balkans have constituted the subject of this study. The first study on this subject was carried out on the Dedebal?lar village of U?ak district. As the second in this series, the present study deals with Dedebal? village of Harmanc?k district. The next study will be on Dedebal? village of T?rnova sanjak, being the last link of this chain of study
