Evaluat？on of Profess？onal Sk？lls of Paramed？c Students By Us？ng Object？ve Structured Cl？n？cal Exam (OSCE)

This study was conducted to evaluate the professional skills of paramedic students using the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE). The data of this study, which is planned as a descriptive type, are collected between April and May 2018. The study was conducted with 90 paramedic students. The data of the study were collected by the "Objectively Structured Clinical Examination (OYKS)". The data were evaluated using descriptive statistics in the SPSS 18.0 program. Ethics committee and institutional permission were obtained in the study. The mean scores of the students receive from OSCE who participated in the survey as were found 41,67 ± 9,81 (30-60) for "MI" case, 30,67 ± 11,39 (19-55) for "asthma" case, 38.56 ± 8.67 (25-51) for "G？S bleeding" case, and 50.11 ± 12.24 (24-64) for “pancreatitis” case. As a result as; It has been determined that the vocational clinical skills of paramedic students who take Emergency Patient Care-II course are inadequate but that OYKS is a useful measurement and evaluation tool in the learning process and in the detection of missing vocational skills
