The Supplier Selection with MACBETH and TOPSIS Methods for A Garment Supplier

Nowadays globalization, technological developments and intense competition enable textile and apparel companies to realize customer satisfaction, to produce orders on time and at desired quality and to understand the importance of choosing the right supplier in order to compete with other companies. This issue shouldn’t be considered as a simple supplier selection but also it should be handled by evaluating not only single variable and criterion but also considering multi criteria and their joint effects. In this study, the weights of the criteria, which were evaluated for supplier selection in an apparel company located in Izmir, has been determined by using MACBETH method as a Multi Criteria Decision Making systems. The supplier alternatives were evaluated by using both MACBETH and TOPSIS methods and the obtained results were compared
