Abstract: Healthcare facilities include places that have negative associations on social perception. Breaking such a perception and enabling creation of places allowing people emotionally connected with them will support the change in perception. The perception of place regarding the society and especially the state organizations pertain to the fact that healthcare services are being provided with limited capacity and facilities. Considerations and conditions of ineffectiveness lead to mergence of negative psychological emotions on all of the users including academic and service staff, as well as patients and their relatives. However, the practices on the resolution of capacity, speed and capability issues can be regarded as the result of the formation that was inherited from the Industrial Revolution to these days. It is inevitanle for hospital designers to eliminate their tendency to perceive humans as machines. They should indeed condisider healing holistically by leaving the idea that healing is only connected to the availability of doctors and medical equipment. The study examines the effect of human and spatial interaction on healing by establishing the theoretical background of the healing places through hospital structures
