EXAMINING ADOLESCENTS' RESILIENCE LEVELS WITH RESPECT TO THEIR FAMILY STRUCTURESKeywords: aile yap?lar?,ergen,psikolojik dayan?kl?l?k Abstract: This study aims at investigating the resilience levels of adolescents having extended, nuclear, and broken families. The population and sample of this study were composed of 352 adolescents in the 13-16 age group who studied at secondary and high school levels of the Ministry of National Education in 2015-2016 academic year in Karabük. The “Resilience Scale for Adolescent " was used to collect the data for this study. The results of the study showed that family structures did not lead to a significant difference in the resilience levels of adolescents. Furthermore, the results of the study indicated that there were significant differences in favor of the resilience levels of the following groups: only the female adolescents having nuclear family structure in gender variable; the adolescents in the 13-14 age group having nuclear and fragmented family structure in age variable; and only the adolescents in extended family structure whose fathers were high school or upper level graduates in the status of education variable
