Kitāb al-Maghāz？ Attributed to Mūsā b. ？Uqba

Mūsā b. ？Uqba is seen as one of the earliest “maghāzī” chroniclers/authors. However there is a lot of controversion about his work which is not believed to have reached today. Many sources speak of this piece with praise. However some sources don’t even mention the existence of this work nor do they even accept the existence of it at all. A specific anthology has been done for this piece whose some parts we were able to establish. We argue, in addition to believing this work to have been used until the end of tenth century after Hegira, that this work has survived ‘till this day
