The Determination of the Relationship Between the Financial Information Level and Firm Financial Success: An Application on The SMEs in Erzincan

Developing markets together with globalization have increased the probability of financial failure for companies that can not exhibit effective financial management by bringing together intense competition conditions and knowledge based management approach for firms. Of course, in the commercial arena, there is no doubt that the economy's density over locomotives status on SMEs. This research, shaped at the conclusion of all this, has aimed to reveal the relation between the level of financial knowledge and firm financial success in the perspective of SME. For this purpose, Erzincan province SMEs have been included in the scope of the research. The research conducted in the sample of 40 SMEs based on the period of 2014-2017 has been completed according to panel data methodology based on the success status of firms. There is a significant relationship between firm success and financial information level as a result of the research that the firm success is used as the Z score of the Altman and the financial information level is used as proxy for the questionnaire ratings prepared to determine the financial information levels of the related company managers
