Evaluation of Breastfeeding

In order to get breast milk maintained effectively, the breastfeeding should be appropriately supported by health professionals. Evaluation of the breastfeeding status of the mothers, is one of the most important stages of providing effective breastfeeding. In order to the efficacy of the breastfeeding to be assessed that is necessary to use a measurement tool which has reliability of its validity. In this article, Turkish validity and reliability studies have been done, published Turkey or abroad, aimed to reviewing the breastfeeding assessment scale and to increase the awareness of the scale for assessing breastfeeding their respective health professionals and ensuring the widespread use of. It is thought that article’ may be a guide to health professionals who are breastfeeding consultants, especially midwives and nurses, and measurement tools that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the breastfeeding
