Transformational Leadership and Knowledge Management: A Qualitative Research on ICT Firms

This paper aims to determine the effects of transformational leadership, which is a leadership style, on the knowledge management process and transformational leadership dimensions are related to knowledge management process. The study was conducted in ICT firms in Ankara. An interview was conducted with the leading managers determined by the purposive sample and conforming to findings, it was found that the dimension of idealized influence is related to knowledge creation, storage and usage, the dimension of intellectual stimulation is associated with the knowledge creation, inspirational motivation is linked with the knowledge creation and sharing as well as the dimension of individual consideration is related to knowledge creation, storage and application.
