Abstract:

The aim of this study was to examine the views of the teachers of science and art centers in which gifted students study on these of digital technology in education and to raise awareness in this respect within the scope of the study. The basis of the present study, which was supported in 2018 within the scope of TüB?TAK Science and Society Innovative Education Practices, is composed of 'Digital Storytelling' instruction, which requires 'Storyboard, GoAnimate, PowToon, Kahoot, Scratch, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator' instructions, and which has in recent years stood out as an authentic instructional method in integrating multimedia technologies into education. In the data analysis of the study, which covers 34 teachers from 24 different science and art centers, content analysis method was used from the qualitative research methods. In line with the study, it was seen that the participants mainly raised awareness about technology/digital technology, and generally about science and creative thinking skills
