ADAPTATION OF TURKISH PARENTAL ATTITUDE SCALE FOR RUSSIAN-SPEAKING CULTURESKeywords: ?l?ek Uyarlama,Ge?erlik,Rus?a Ebeveyn Tutum ?l?e?i,Güvenirlik Abstract: The aim of the study is provide to a parental attitude scale to educators and researchers in Russian-speaking societies. The adaptation language is Russian. Because Russian is used official language in Belarus, Kazakstan and Kyrgyzstan and also it is spoken in the others Central Asian countries. For this purpose, a scale which has completed validity and reliability study in Turkish has chosen and it has been made adaptation in complance with principles of scale adaptation. 394 Turkish, 189 Kyrgyz and 138 Russian parents participated in the research. Kyrgyz and Russian parents live in Bishkek. According to the result of analysis committed in scale of the language reliability, Cronbach alpha values for the four subscales have; .89, .78, .76 and .57, respectively. It has been calculated as 2.71 for the sample of Turkey, 1.31 for the sample of the Russia 1.31 and 2.67 for the sample of Kyrgyzstan. It has been seen that the datum had corresponded to the model magnificently, due to the χ2/sd value was smaller than 3 for each three samples. Factor onus values belong to three sample groups; it has calculated as .80 for the sample of Turkey, .78 for the sample of Russia and .79 for the sample of Kyrgyzstan. As a result, it has been seen that parental attitude scale has academical properties and it can be used by educators and researchers in Russian-speaking countries
