THE EXAMINATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE AND LONELINESS AND NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY TRAITS

The aim of the study was investigate to relationship between social media addiction, loneliness and narcissistic personal trait. This study is applied 207 participants who are selected by mostly living in ？zmir and ？stanbul participants. There are 109 female and 98 male participants. Furthermore, this study conducted with relational search model. Social Media Addiction Scale developed by ？ahin and Ya？c？ (2017), Narcissistic Personality Inventory developed by Atay (2009), UCLA Loneliness Scale developed by Russell, Peplau and Ferguson (1978) and Demographic Form used in this research. In this study was analyzed thanks to Independent T Test, one way Anova and Kruskal Wallis H. According to t-test score, there was significant difference between social media addiction and narcissistic personal trait
