ANALOGUE TO DIGITAL BROADCASTING MIGRATION AND PUBLISH？NG

The developments in information technologies have affected television as much as other mass media. With the innovations in television broadcasting, analogue broadcasting techniques have been replaced by digital broadcasting techniques that give the audience great freedom with its interaction features. In this context, the subject of this study is the digitalization process of television broadcasts. In this study, it is aimed to explain the reflections of the transformation in television broadcasting on the audience by using the literature review. In addition, concepts related to digital television broadcasting such as terrestrial digital television broadcasting, digital cable broadcasting, digital satellite broadcasting, web tv and IPTV are explained. As a result of the research, it has been seen that digital television technologies have introduced us to new audience / consumer population.
