Improvement of policlinic service processes in hospital operations with process management technique and a sample application

That the organizations are administered in an efficient and qualified way has been a very important issue. There have been many different techniques and methods serving for that purpose. Process management technique which has become prominent and has a place of use in different sectors is one of these techniques. Especially this technique, which has paced the duties in detail and taken each step one by one into consideration, is quite successful in providing an effective control and reformation. The aim of our study is to show that this technique, which has recently been used in our country, is an effective method for improving the usability and the hospital service process in hospitals operating in the health sector. Also in this study, it has been aimed to evaluate the outpatient clinic services provided by the hospitals in accordance with the process management technique, to draw the process map and to evaluate the process management technique and the improvement cases of the processes. In the conclusion section, it has been shown that this technique can improve polyclinic service processes and the applicability of this technique to all the processes of the hospital has been discussed
