A Comtemporary Iran Poet Mirzadeh Esghi and His Plays

Mirzadeh Esghi who lived in between the years of 1894-1985 during constitutionalism acts began in Iran and when people struggled for their freedom. Mirzadeh Esghi carried out political activities since his youth and fought for his homeland and freedom. His ideas for which he fought for his entire life contituted the themes of his works. Combining these thoughts with his literature knowledge learned from philosophy and social sciences at Daru’l-Funun at that time he has been in ？stanbul, he wrote poetic and prosaic works which include his poetry, play and articles. His plays play an important role among the works of Esghi, who is commonly known for his poetry. As well as patriotism and liberty are key topics of his plays, superstitions, misconduct of executives, managerial misconduct, problems in state affairs, and women's problems in society are also among the topics he has dealt with. This research aims to analyze his plays which holds in important place in his poetic and prose works
