The Old Turkish Elements in the West Mediterranean Yoruk Dialects

Turkish dialects are one of the most important cultural treasures of Turkish in terms of not only phonetic and morphological structures but also lexicology. It is possible that in Turkish dialects based on Oghuz Turkish in terms of phonetic, morphological structure and vocabulary see archaic traces. For solving especially historical problems of Turkish, generaly by viewing phonetic, morphological structure and semantic depth of the Turkish dialects, that archaic elements have been benefited. Because that rich vocabularies are the most important language indicators contributing to the clarification of the many points from to the progress of development and change of the Turk？sh language to preferences in socio-cultural, political and economic life of Turkish nation. In this study, the development of words which not found in written Turkish, found in West Mediterranean Yoruk dialects will have been tackled by basing on the oldest texts of the Turkish language. In addition, the other words thought relevant with tackled words in terms of meaning and morphological structure, will be revealed. In order not to expand the subject literature, the form of words in contemporary Turkish dialects and accents will not be emphasized
