INVESTIGATION OF THE REFEREE SELF-EFFICACY LEVELS OF THE VOLLEYBALL REFEREESKeywords: Voleybol,Hakem,Voleybol Hakemi,?z-yeterlik,Hakem ?z-yeterli?i,?nan?,Spor Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the referees' self-efficacy of Turkish volleyball referees according to various variables. The sample group of the study consisted of 377 Volleyball Referees (159 Female, 218 Male) who were refereeing during 2018-2019 competition season in Turkey. Personal information form and Referee Self-Efficacy Scale, which was conducted by Kara?am ve Pulur (2017) for Turkish validity and reliability, was used as data collection tool. SPSS 22 program was used to analyze the data. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to determine whether the data showed normal distribution. The significance level was accepted as p<0.05 in the analyzes. Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the data of gender and volleyball experience variables. Kruskal-Wallis test was used to analyze the age, education level and referee level. As a result of the research, a significant difference was found in the self-efficacy of the arbitrator and gender, age, and refereeing level (p <0.05). There was no significant difference in educational status (p> 0.05). When the results of the study were evaluated; it can be said that gender, age, volleyball player career and refereeing level can be among the determinants of self-efficacy levels of volleyball referees
