Investigation of Qualitative Research Methods in The Context of Health Services

Qualitative research methods are a generic name given to methods that try to explain events in real life based on interpretations, not based on numerical data. The implementation of qualitative research has its own specific follow-up stages. For this reason, the methodology to be applied in qualitative research and the methodology to be applied in quantitative research are different. Qualitative research methods have been used frequently in many areas of social sciences, but they have also been used in the health field in recent years. Qualitative research in understanding and resolving the problems associated with health service provision in particular offers important clues to health service providers. In addition, the use of qualitative research methods in the field of health care provides important benefits when specific characteristics of health services are considered.
