RESPONSIBLE STAKEHOLDERS OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE VAN LAKE WATERSHED

Watershed management is a management approach that provides sustainable protection of natural resources and water resources. Van Lake Watershed is one of the 26 lovingly hand watershed in Turkey in various institutions within the framework of this management approach and is managed. In this study, the institutions and organizations responsible for the management of the Van Lake Watershed are explained. In addition to the central government and local government, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), associations and professional chambers in Havza are also responsible for the management of Havza. The aim of the study is to present these stakeholders with various duties and powers. In the study, the regional institutions in the Van Lake Watershed, the local institutions and the provincial organizations of the central administration are examined and the stakeholders who are responsible for the Watershed in the legal framework are mentioned
