Investigation of the Secondary Physical Education and Sports Lesson Curriculum from Past to PresentDOI: 10.55142/jogser.1113312, PP. 99-117 Keywords: Physical education and sports, high school, curriculum. Abstract: The aim of this research is to provide comprehensive information on the subject by evaluating the conceptual foundations of education and training programs and the changes made in the physical education and sports curriculum in particular. For this purpose, a systematic review study was conducted on the basis of examination and reporting. In this direction, the curricula related to physical education and sports course curricula that entered into force until 2022, published articles, papers, theses, circulars, regulations, Tebli?ler Journals, education councils, etc. All printed and electronic resources such as a result of the systematic examination, it has been seen that the 21st century skills and the Turkish Qualifications Framework are effective in the change of the curricula, together with the education councils, and it has been affected by the approaches that are effective in the world in the shaping of the curricula. It can be said that in our country, physical education and sports lessons under different names have been held at different levels with different lesson hours since 1927, secondary education programs in 1924 and 1948 were of basic nature, and the curriculum put into effect in 1983 constitutes the essence of the most recently updated 2018 physical education and sports lesson programs. As a result, the sources examined within the scope of the systematic review show that the physical education and sports course curricula will continue to be updated in accordance with the requirements of the age. In line with the successful results to be obtained as the output of these updates, the programs will continue to maintain their weight alongside other basic courses by further specializing in the future.
