人教版高中英语必修教材的文化内容分析研究

Abstract:

人教版高中英语教材作为我国使用较为广泛的教材,对其进行评价有助于学校和老师更好地使用。本研究以Cortazzi和Jin (1999)和张革承(2007)的文化分类方法为基础,采用文本分析法,围绕以下问题对人教版高中英语必修教材的文化内容进行分析:人教版高中英语必修教材阅读材料中的文化内容,编排特点以及本研究能为一线教师和教材编写者提供哪些建议。研究发现教材地域文化的设置较为丰富,文化类型和文化主题的总体分布是多样化的,但对比文化涉及较少。最后,根据以上研究结论,对教材提出以下使用的建议:呈现更多的跨文化内容;提高文化意识;提升文化素养。
As a widely used textbook in China, the evaluation of PEP English textbooks for senior high schools will help schools and teachers to make better use of them. Based on Cortazzi and Jin (1999) and Zhang Gecheng (2007)’s cultural classification method, this study adopts text analysis to analyze the cultural content of PEP’s compulsory English textbooks for senior high schools, focusing on the fol-lowing questions: What are the cultural content in the reading materials of PEP’s compulsory English textbooks for senior high schools, what are the characteristics of the arrangement, and what suggestions can this study provide for front-line teachers and textbook writers? It is found that the teaching materials are rich in regional culture, and the overall distribution of cultural types and cultural themes is diversified, but the comparative culture is less involved. Finally, according to the above research conclusions, the following suggestions are put forward for the use of textbooks: Show more cross-cultural content; Raise cultural awareness; Improve cultural accomplishment.
