''Voces y sonidos de la madre tierra'': jujunula makuira, la radio que fortalece el tejido social en La Guajira colombiana

colombian government has supported the creation of community aborigine radio since 2000, intended to make aborigine populations feel themselves more involved in the country's public affairs. this article shows an ethnographic research applied to jujunula makuira radio, located in ''alta guajira'' (colombia). the research shows how a local communication medium achieved wayuu community organization to think about its own communication medium which finally became a special tool for strengthening the construction of a social tissue in the region. it made community cohesion easier around a common project, and this made the community rethink itself and construct own messages reflecting their imaginaries.
