by using the continuous huosehold survey for the thirteen metropolitan areas of colombia, the segmentation hypothesis of the urban labour market is examined for each year of the 2001-2006 period. segmentation evidence is found between large firms and the remainder (interregional or scale segmentation), and between bogotá and the rest of metropolitan areas (interregional segmentation).
