Contextos vegetales de aleros con pinturas (precordillera de Arica, norte de Chile)

we present the results of the analysis of archaeological plant remains from rock shelters with paintings ofarica's precordillera (northern chile), specifically, we refer to pampa el muerto 3 and 8 (pm-3 and pm-8) and tangani 1 (tan-1) sites. with these results, we identified the different activities developed in these spaces and, thus, we try to document who could be the authors of these rock art manifestations in pre-hispanic times. finally, our results are discussed in relation to other contemporary sites of the atacama region.
