Evaluación de la depreciación luminosa y la eficiencia energética de los sistemas de alumbrado viario

the public lighting in santiago de cuba city had a renovation during the years 2006-2008, it was substituted a lot of lamps and luminaries. after having lapsed some time, an increase of the number of burned amps has been verified and the service of these systems has been affected. this paper focus in the influence that has had the luminous depreciation in the energy efficiency of an road lighting facilities of this city, through field mensurations. the results allow evaluating the total luminous depreciation of the road through a study from 2006 to 2010 years. a worsening has been corroborated in the last year of exploitation; the depreciation of the lamps has being the main cause. it is carried out the energy efficiency evaluation and it is demonstrated their gradual worsening to a tendency that coincides with the depreciation luminous total of the system.
