La etnización política: ？Necesaria para la construcción de la nueva nación mexicana?

at the end of the 20th century, it was significant the raise of ethnicity and the ethnic- political mobilizations in different regions of latin america whose manifestations of rebelliousness bother several national states. the indian people achieved negotiate a new relation with the state, even though favoring the modification of some national constitutions. the political presence of the ethnics and the critic to the "models" of nation, says that what is related to indian had not just disappeared, but each day became more visible and impose with strength, transforming the states, the concepts and the analytical anthropological tools and the nations their selves. the paper has the purpose of analyze in first place, the methodological relation between the concept of indian and nation, as well as its dialectic transformation. in second place we will tackle the way how these elements had been studied in méxico by social sciences in the second half of the 20th century. at the end, we will try to analyze the current situation.
