Chicanos e identidad: Análisis del problema a través de la novela "Peregrinos de Aztlan"

in this work i shall try to understand the problems of identity inside the "chicano" group. in order to achieve this objective, i shall divide the article in three parts. first we will look forward to embrace the concept of identity through the definitions of eduardo sandoval, josé valenzuela and garcía canclini, in order to get a point of support to go on. in de second part i shall write about the "·chicanos", their origins and formation. finally, throughout the analysis of a "chicana" novel i will be able to have a general vision of the problem, and therefore analyse the importance of the roots in these groups
