Humano vs. divino: o destino de Reso, por AtenaKeywords: rhesus, athena, greek religion, doloneia, euripide. Abstract: this article presents a careful analysis of the role played by athena in the narratives of rhesus' death that have come down to us (il x and the tragedy rhesus), with the purpose of establishing how and why the goddess influences the thracian king's death. this theme also helps to understand a bit more about gods and humans in the ancient thought and, above all, about the ways in which this opposition is represented in rhesus, where the relations between human and divine enable us to have a deeper understanding of this tragedy.
