congenital muscular torticollis is the third most common cause of musculo-skeletal congenital anomaly. the early diagnosis and treatment as well as the active participation of parents are very important to the success of treatment. the authors present a case of congenital muscular torticollis whose initial presentation was a cervical left swelling with signi？cant limitation of cervical range of motion, which resolved with conservative treatment. they also review the pathogenesis, classi？cation, diagnostic approach and treatment.
