Abstract: this article sketches an approximation to tyrannical love in relation to the story “idealismos” by clemente palma. in this story, the characters suffer temptation and agony when faced with the desire to succumb to sexual pleasures. due to this, they must suppress their conducts, fearful of reaching pleasure and losing desire and passion. along with this dilemma, there is a struggle between lust and chastity as features impossible to fuse together. luty is a young woman who succumbs to the amatory experience that her fiancé exercises on her person. with this affective submission comes another one: the carnal, before which the fiancé decides to sacrifice the life of his beloved so as not to submit her to the evil that is apparent in lust. in this manner, a space is opened up for sadomasochism, repression and evil.
