El cariotipo fundamental de Alstroemeria patagonica (Alstroemeriaceae)

the karyotype of alstroemeria patagonia phil. from chile was described. the species had a karyotype 2n = 2x = 16, and the haploid formula was 1m + 2sm + 1sm-sat + 2st + 1st-sat + 1t. the reported karyotype was very asymmetric (ask % = 76.0).
