NI？O JESúS EN CUSCO COLONIAL Y AZAPA CONTEMPORáNEO: UN EJERCICIO DE ANáLISIS DE BULTOS COMO SOPORTES

two bulks of child jesus are analyzed as parts of an andean system of supports. thefirst is from colonial cusco and the second from the contemporary azapa valley. the analysis proposes that both belong to the same metastory of unknown contents. within their respective contexts, they are stratigraphically read atfour levels: object, structure, memory and values. the intention is to propose a methodological and conceptual approach to the bulks as supports of andean discourses, through an exploration that emphasizes the concurrent and complementary relationship of this system of supports with others, and the relation of its visual aspects to other sensibilities.
