in this paper i intend to show how hart in order to develop his theory of law was influenced by different philosophical problems such as: 1. the importance given to ordinary language, influence he received from both austin and wittgenstein ii; 2. the notion of waisman's 'open texture' that hart applied to the law 3. the notion of social behavior which is governed by rules as conceived by both searle and winch.
