Histoplasmosis como causa de paniculitis en lupus eritematoso sistémico y dermatomiositis: reporte de dos casos y revisión de la literatura

two cases of infectious panniculitis caused by the fungi histoplasma capsulatum in two autoimmune diseases: systemic lupus erythematosus (sle) and dermatomyositis (dm) are presented. both had severe systemic activity of baseline disease and were immunosuppressed with high-dose steroids. the first signs were fever and nodular skin lesions. skin biopsy confirmed the diagnosis.
