EVALUACIóN DE SUSTRATOS SóLIDOS PARA LA PRODUCCIóNMASIVA DE Nomuraea rileyi (FARLOW) SAMSONKeywords: nomuraea rileyi, conidia production, sporulation dynamics. Abstract: the isolate nr-003 of the entomopatogen fungus nomuraea rileyi (farlow) samson from the crop protection laboratory of the agronomy faculty, agrarian university of havana, was used in this research with the objective of producing conidia on different solid substrates, as well as determining the optimum harvest time on the substrate with the higher conidial production. the solid substrates used for the conidial production were whole rice, wheat and broken corn. propylene bags with 100 g of each substrate were inoculated with 35 ml of biomass obtained in a liquid media containing molasses (20 ml.l-1) and yeast extract (20 g.l-1). the production of conidia.g of substrate-1, g of conidial powder.kg of substrate-1 and conidia.g conidial powder-1 were evaluated after 18 days. in addition, the dynamics of conidia production on whole rice was evaluated from day 6 to day 18, considering each evaluation time a treatment. the fungus produced conidia on all the solid substrates standing out the whole rice for its highest production (8,93 x 109 conidia.g of substrate-1, 27,10 g of conidial powder.kgof substrate-1 and 2,7 x 1011 conidia.g of conidial powder-1). the optimum time for harvesting conidia was on day 14, when the fungus reached the highest production of conidia.
