A universidade ontem e amanh？ - da cópia acadêmica à inven？？o intercultural

the text reflects about the necessity of sharing the university practices with the external necessities - with the differences and transformations which are happening in our century - mainly in its insertion in the latin american continent in its intense interculturality. based on some ideas from contemporaneous thinkers and men of letters, the text questions the placing in a hierarchy of the different areas of the knowledge production and alerts to the bureaucratization that is taking the academic structures, with the consequent lost of the intellectual freedom and daring. so, among other questions, it is asked about what we have to say about the contribution of the brazilian university to the edification of a society more social and ecologically just. answers for these problems are proposed to be found, not in the in the debate of subjects merely academic, but especially in the confront with the interlocutions of other social agents and actors to, finally, renew and actualize our ideas and notions and then to overcome the true blackout of innovative and rebel ideas facing the consolidated.
