Problemas de mujeres: La menopausia y el climaterio a la luz de la Bioantropología

one of the most recent and concerning demographical phenomena is that of demographical aging. the search for well-being and betterment of life quality in many developed countries, is expressed in an increase of life expectation, and hence it occurs the augmentation in the proportion of adults. one feature of this phenomenon is that the sector growing up is mainly the group of adult and old women. the fact of being this number so high determines that menopause and health complications related to this female sector is being regarded as a sanitary problem in the world. in this paper some bioanthropological transformations related to climactery and menopause are discussed.
