Surface Oxidation of Single Crystal Copper Wire in Humid Environment

Abstract:
In order to understand whay single crystal copper wires(SCCW)were easily stained during storage,the oxidation performance of SCCW was studied in water vapour containing air-flow at different temperatures.The results show that the oxidation process of SCCW is composed with three phases in humid environments.It is obvious that the temperature and water vapor flow influence the oxidation of single crystal copper wires,the oxidation rate is faster at higher temperature,as well as higher flow velocity.The oxide ...
