Abstract: The history of Afghanistan over the past 30 years is characterized by instability, conflicts and wars. The interests of external actors in addition to local partnerships have had a devastating effect on a country marked by underdevelopment and fragmentation may be classified as a failed state. The conflict being waged in this country since 2001 is particularly intense at the number and diversity of factors and actors involved, along with the complex interconnecting them. Such complexity is based on the characteristics inside the country, its geographic location and actions of domestic and external actors, posing a major challenge for conversion into a stable and prosperous.
