Effect of the "light" products on the glycemia of type 2 diabetic’s subjects

Abstract:

Light products are used in the dietetic of diabetic’s, obese and even healthy subjects. In this study, the results of the dosage of total sugars according to the method of Dubois of the light yoghurt and the light juice are of 39.12 and 28.12 g / l respectively, the qualitative analysis has revealed the probability of presence of fructose and sucrose in the light juice, lactose and glucose in the light yogurt. The ingestion of these products after 10-12 hours of fast by diabetic subjects type 2 hospitalized in the department of internal medicine CHU (TEACHING HOSPITAL) Constantine causes an insignificant increase in post prandial blood glucose from the fasting blood glucose, This being due to the presence of sugars in the light products whose glycemic index varies according to the sugar that it is moderate (sucrose, lactose) either rapid (glucose) or slow in the case of the fructose.
