Gli esperimenti di scelta a supporto della pianificazione forestale in Sicilia

This paper reports on main results of a choice experiments carried out to estimate several hypothetical afforestation and forest protection programmes in Sicily. The econometric analysis of data relies on logit models. The best econometric performance is shown by models which take into account heterogeneity in individual preferences. Results reveal that individual preferences can be grouped in discrete latent classes.
