ANáLISE DO IMPACTO DOS SISTEMAS DE TELECOMUNICA ES NA PERSPECTIVA DO MEIO AMBIENTE

The article discusses the implications for the environment of the main telecommunications systems, based on the available results of studies and technical reports of corporate, government and academic sources. These discussions seek the knowledge of a possible initial reference frame contributing to present what may be an effective consensus on the risks that these systems can cause. In this sense, employing a mainly explanatory methodological approach, it initially characterizes the problem and, from its synthesis, theorizing and reflection, identifies the main factors contributing to the occurrence of the variables that affect the process of emergence of the environmental impacts of telecommunications systems. As a result it provides critical technological and organizational principles to be respected in the context of mitigating the environmental impact caused by telecommunications systems.
