La política occidental es co-originariamente biopolítica? Agamben frente a Foucault y Arendt

My purpose in this paper is to examine the Giorgio Agamben’s sentence, in the work The open, in according to which the politics in the West is co-originally biopolitic. In the analysis of this hypothesis, I make use of the Hannah Arendt and Michel Foucault’s works, commented by Agamben, aiming to indicate how much they keep distance of this Agamben’s position, despite of the proximity among them.
