La arquitectura moderna como experimento: la Weissenhofsiedlung y la relación entre la técnica y la formaKeywords: modern architecture , construction , form , Weissenhofsiedlung Abstract: The architectural project known as the Weissenhofsiedlung Estate, in which seventeen architects took part, has given us what is now recognised as the Modern Movement in Architecture: one of the most emblematic of the twentieth century. Through a description of the construction techniques employed, this paper explains how the experiment was fundamental in developing the principles of rationalization, classification, efficiency, flexibility, and quality that came from the architects in their search to create a new form of architecture. The purpose of which was: to make clear the relationship between technique and form in architecture.
