BIORREMEDIA O DE SOLO CONTAMINADO POR óLEO VEGETAL UTILIZANDO A BIOAUMENTA O COM Bacillus subtilisDOI: 10.5747/ce.2011.v03.n1.e024 Keywords: Pollution , Remediation , Microorganism. Abstract: The increase in waste generated and disposed of improperly in the environment generates a negative impact in several areas. The recovery time of the site is degraded very high, so it is necessary to use some technique to speed up the process. One of the best techniques is Bioremediation, which uses microorganisms, fungi, algae, plants or their enzymes to degrade pollutants or freeze in a manner that eliminates the danger, or at least minimize. This study aimed to evaluate the technique of bioaugmentation in soil contaminated with vegetable oil, packed in 40 pots in a greenhouse, where they were introduced two strains of B. subtilis (AP-3 and A3-5) multiplied in the laboratory. Were collected from soil samples periodically to monitor the concentration of oil in the soil and to evaluate the enzymatic activities offered by the microorganisms as well as the fresh weight produced by plants.
