Evaluation of Eskipazar (Karabük) Landscape in terms of Ecotourism

In the study, iIt is aimed to analyze and evaluate the landscape of the Eskipazar landscape of (Karabük Pprovince) in terms of tourism. AroundIn this context, in the first stage of the method, natural and cultural landscape values were determined for the research subject and area. At this stage, field observations, individual interviews, literature surveys and data obtained from various maps were utilized. In the second stage, SWOT analysis was introduced. The strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats of the landscape values of Eskipazar in terms of tourism, field studies (one-on-one interviews with local people), interviews with local managers and literature surveys were determined by using SWOT analysis. The SWOT factors were directed to the local community, visitors and experts as part of the survey. The responses obtained from local people and visitors were evaluated through frequency analysis. The opinions of 5 key experts (local managers) on the subject of the research were evaluated using A’wot technique. With the data collection and analysis, ideas were obtained for the tourism and protection in the field and negative environmental factors particulalrly on the, tourism and recreation infrastructure were obtained. The results of the analysis were evaluated together at the last stage and solutions were proposed with under the support of sustainable ecotourism strategies. These proposed strategies will provide the opportunity to use and protect the natural and cultural landscape values of Eskipazar
