DETERMINATION OF NON-WOOD FOREST PRODUCTS IN HATAY PROVINCE WITH SWOT ANALYSIS

The Mediterranean region has valuable sources with regards to non-wood forest products because of its geographic position. Important non-wood forest products in Hatay, where is in the Mediterranean region, are pine, bay, sage, terebinth, thyme, oak, locust, lime, juniperus, and giant fennel. A strategic method was used for showing potential opportunities of non-wood forest products in Hatay province and benefit from these opportunities.
