Productivity Measurement in Textile Sector and an Application

This study was carried out to measure to causes of the decrease in production capacity of a textile sector by means of productivity parameters. The efficiency status of the enterprise through financial data periods was analyzed with parts of productivity ratios, total factor productivity, detailed efficiency measures, capital productivity. In this study, RAMSAY productivity modeling system, which is a method that offers a high level of analysis ability than other models owing to its efficiency measurement, productivity budgeting, total economic monitoring and control approach, was used as a method by using financial information and cost information. As a result of the analysis, it has been observed that the enterprise could not fully utilize its capacity. The capacity compared to the previous year and could not save its costs with a serious loss
