History Begins With CreationKeywords: ?slam tarih?ili?i,Yarat?l??,Peygamber Abstract: Up until now, history has always been the sort of science that people were interested in the most. The beginning of history, though, differs depending on the nation and the religion. Generally, every nation accepts the beginning of history as an event that is important to them. For historians of Islam, the beginning of history is the creation of human beings. Muslim writers always commence their works with besmele, hamdele and salvele. Historians of Islam explained in their books how and why human beings were created. After prophet Adam, history continued as the history of prophets. Authors resorted primarily to Qur’an as their main source of knowledge, and when they could not find enough historical information they benefited from old Arab traditions, and Torah and Persian mythology. However, the information they used has not been criticized and has been narrated as it comes. The tradition of starting history from the creation of human beings has been carried on for centuries. As to the geographers of Islam, they approach events from the perspective of a Muslim and put Mekka (Kaaba) in the center of the world. Muslims believe that Kaaba is the very first holy place on earth. Mekka is the mother of cities, homeland of Arabs and the birthplace of Islam. Geographers usually divide the world into seven sections, view Mekka as the center of the world and try to build a Mekka-based world. In this work, by choosing excerpts from various works that start with, creation, Prophet Adam, servitude and gratitude, and that accept the beginning of history as the creation of humans, we exemplified the subject. The claims made above will tried to be proven right by choosing excerpts from geographers of Islam that view Mekka as the center of the world. The spelling and the wording in the chosen texts have been left intact
