Abstract: Tuvan Turks have two beliefs, Buddhism and Shamanism. Today, Tuva is the only Turkish community that accepts Buddhism as its official religion. The greatest factor in the harmonious coexistence of Buddhism and Shamanism is the respect of Tuvan’s nature. The revival of Ustu-Hure Festival in Tuva is the beginning of a new way of life after post-Soviet era. In the period of the USSR, to celebrate acceptance of Ustu-Hure Festival was depent on the region they came from, their experiences and the unique nature of their beliefs. In the reproduction process, tradition is reproduced from one side and transferred to the future, while the in a unique form. It takes place in the form of new conditions emerging from the other side. In this article, we will try to talk about the feasts celebrated together with shamanism and Buddhism, starting from the cultural-religious practices of Tuvan. This bibliographical survey covers Tuva and Russian researchers except by Western travelers works. However, the article presents the author’s field studies investigations in Tuva between July 8th and 28th, 2017.
